Terms and Conditions of Hire (please familiarise yourself with these prior to hire)
It is agreed that the owner WTH (Waikato Trailer Hire Ltd) shall let and the Hirer (customer) take on hire of the trailer described and under the conditions stated in the Hire Agreement including the Conditions of Hire (copy available on request). The Hirer accepts these conditions and receipt of the trailer in good working order and condition. Under the Privacy Act I/we give consent for the information recorded on the Hire Agreement to be used in any way by the Owner (WTH) or his agent.
The trailer is deemed to be in good conditionThe trailer is returned in the same condition as its picked up inThe hirer (customer) is to cover all cost for any damageRetention of the trailer will be deemed as theftThe Hirer must keep the trailer in good working conditionThe Hirer must comply with all road rules and regulationsThe hirer must not overload the trailerThe hirer must collect the trailer with a vehicle suitable for towing the required trailerThe hirer must have a legally warranted and registered vehicle suitable for towing the required trailerThe hirer must have a suitable towbarThe trailer must be returned in a clear and clean state
The hire agreement must be completely filled in.It is the hirers responsibility to ensure their vehicle is capable of towing the trailer before filling out the Hire Agreement. If the Owner deems the vehicle unfit to tow the trailer then the owner reserves the right to refuse hire.The hirer must have a FULL drivers license.The hirer must provide photo ID.The hirer accepts the condition the trailer is in once they pick it up.
