- Who pays if the trailer gets damaged or in an accident?
- The Hirer is responsible for the trailer for the hire period.
- What if I can't drop the trailer off at the nominated times?
- The hirer would incur an extra days hire
- What If I am late dropping the trailer off?
- If you know you are going to be late - call us on 021 0232-0409. You may be charged an extra days hire
- Can I return my trailer early? Will I receive a refund?
- You can return your trailer earlier than the stated end date/time on your contract, however you will not be entitled to a refund for the unused time. If you want to return your trailer earlier than arranged - you must phone prior to advise.
- If the gate is locked when I return my trailer, can I leave it outside?
- NO - absolutely not. If you return your trailer at the arranged time then the gate will be unlocked. If, for some unforeseen reason it is closed - please phone Waikato Trailer Hire on 0210 232 0409.
- Can I extend my hire?
- Yes, however we cannot guarantee any extension as it would be subject to availability.
- What do I do if I have an accident?
- If you are involved in an accident with another party we ask that you do not admit liability under any circumstances. You must immediately contact us (Waikato Trailer Hire) in the first instance.
- What should I do if the trailer has a fault?
- Please telephone us immediately so we can give you instructions. do not under any circumstances take it to a 3rd party to repair. If you do this - you will be liable to pay the account.
- Can I be refused hireage?
- Yes, if we believe your tow vehicle is unsuitable for the trailer or any other reason, we can refuse hire.
